話說呢,鹿港小鎮為了迎接元宵燈會的到了,真的是卯足了勁~
不僅道路翻修、人孔蓋重新換過,連道路上都常看到漂亮的燈會噴漆!
令原本不喜歡過節的我也開始期待了起來~

For the coming Lantern Festival, Lukung Village is working really hard. Not only the routes are renewed, even the sewer covers on the road are particularly decorated. Even me, a native Lukungese who is sick of all the flock of tourists, start to look forward for the festival to come.
雖然有點跳tone但還是想介紹一下這家鹿港窯烤披薩。沒想到鹿港也會開這種外國人親自料理的小店耶!因為是薄皮,而且現場進窯烘烤,實在令人心癢難耐XD因此便找一天來試吃囉~
Before jumping directly to the festival day, let me first introduce a little bit of this awesome pizzeria. In this little village, it's so surprising to see a pizza house that's not Pizza Hut or Domino (and it's run by few foreigners!).
真的是現場桿麵皮並在面前料理披薩喔!透明化的製作過程一目瞭然,不僅有趣也放心~
They're literary making pizza dough in front of customers, which is amazing. I love the thin crust of pizza!

這還是我第一次吃又薄又脆的窯烤披薩呢!超好吃!

說到燈會,夜市攤販當然少不了。台灣的夜市文化可說是獨步全球,其包羅萬象的程度想必也不必在此多加贅述了,就看照片吧!
The night market culture is unique to Taiwan. When it comes to every festival or events at night, there's always vendors and light food stands. Now, let's watch some interesting food in these stands.
Deep-fried tofu, covered with special sauce (salty and sweet), served with shredded cucs.
mini hot dogs, soy produce, blood cake, chicken neck...all kinds of stuff that you can or can't imagine. Take one stick and the vendor will cook/heat up/fried it for you.
Taiwanese crepe--crispy, big and kind of boring (this is chocolate flavor which means have a thin layer of chocolate spread inside).
Green onion fried cake--made with a dough kind of like bread but not with the same amount of yeast, roll out and filled with chopped green onions and fried it on pan. The green onion from Yilan is the special point.
Sausages. Green is with spinach and garlic, black is with squid juice (not burnt!).
Black pepper bread. A traditional bread from north China. With pork seasoned with black pepper inside, this kind of dough is baked inside this exact "oven", and it rises up like a balloon when it's ready.
Okomiyaki. Street food from Japan. On top of chopped cabbage, the eggs are ready to be cooked and be part of the cuisine.
Takoyaki, another street food from Japan. Little balls filled with octopus pieces and veggies.
A scooter that sells handmade coffee and cocoa.
Fried banana balls. Deep fry the banana peel and form them in balls--"increase depression resistance and it's good for your eyes", it says.
Donrayaki, pastry from Japan but develop more flavors in Taiwan: butter, taro, peanut butter, coconut, etc.
A traditional Chinese roll, made with very thin skin and filled with veggies and little bit meat. Kinda like a burrito but with thinner skin.
Deep-fried dough with almond drink (very thick, very almondly).
Tiny nikumans.
Many kinds of deep-fried patties.
